Of Forest Hills, formerly of Wilkinsburg, age 75, died in her home surrounded by her family on Monday, September 7, 2020.
Actalee was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Raymond, her children Acty (Judy) and Rachel (Mark), and her grandchildren Tim (Andrea) and Emalee. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Actalee was born in Pittsburgh on April 9, 1945 to Acty and Marybelle Mancuso. She graduated from Mount Mercy College (now Carlow University) and Point Park University. She spent her career working in hospitals all over Pittsburgh as a medical transcriptionist. She was extremely hardworking and at the height of her career could type 140 words per minute, without error. Although she spent her professional career in the field of medicine, her true passion was for teaching and entertaining children with silly songs made up on the spot. She was a faithful follower of Jesus and was involved in the church choir at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.
Friends, family, and others whose lives Actalee touched are invited to WOLFE MEMORIAL, LLC, 3604 Greensburg Pike, Forest Hills, PA 15221, between 2 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM on Thursday, September 10, 2020 to reminisce, grieve, and support each other. A funeral service will take place at Wolfe Memorial on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 10 AM.
