Burris E. Esplen, Jr.

Of Churchill, age 85, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Loving father of Burris, IV (Ashlee), James, and Donald. Proud grandfather of Arianna and Burris V. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years, Doris Carr Esplen. Burris was a US Army veteran, worked as a lineman for Bell Telephone for 36 years, served with Churchill Volunteer Fire Company for over 20 years, and was a former BSA Scoutmaster for Troop 98. Friends received at Wolfe Memorial, LLC, Forest Hills Chapel, 3604 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221, on Thursday 2-4 and 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 12:30pm.
