Dale Comstock

Of Forest Hills, age 75, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025. Dale was born in Elmira, NY, on Sept. 24, 1949, the son of Keith L. and Helen Jane (Lawlor) Comstock. He graduated from Penn State in 1970 with a degree in communications and video and then worked for Island Creek Coal Mine and the University of Pittsburgh. He and his wife were the owners of Comstock Video Production, Inc. and worked with the team of Dr. Peter Safar on the development of CPR. Dale enjoyed time with his family at their beloved cottage in Renfrew. He was a loving husband of 47 years to Anna Maria (Giovannini) Comstock. Loving father of Micheal Andrew Comstock (Lynne) of Havertown, PA, and Oliver Samuel Comstock (Tricia Lynn) of Ft. Thomas, KY. Cherished grandfather of Olivia Rae, Anna Margaret, Max Anthony, Caroline Jane, Clark Edward, and Catherine Anne Comstock. Brother of Claudia Raker (Bill) of Baltimore, MD, Keith Lynn Comstock (Sherry) of NC, Todd Comstock (Lisa) of Perryville, MD, and the late Kevin Comstock. Friends will be received at Wolfe Memorial, LLC, Forest Hills Chapel, 3600 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221, on Sunday, May 18, from 1:00pm until the time of the memorial service at 4:00pm.
