Diane Lynn Rose

Of Forest Hills, age 74, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. She was born in Millvale on December 12, 1946, the daughter of Norbert Eichler and Bernice Lang O’Rourke, and graduated from West Deer High School. She was an avid gardener and joyful servant in her church and she loved to travel. Being a mother was the joy of Diane’s life.

Diane is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Al Rose; her two daughters, Colleen Sabeh (Michael) of Andover, OH, and Missi Anderson (Bob) of Tarentum; Al’s children, Margie Jurich (John) of Penn Trafford, Mindy Stevenson (Ted) of N. Huntingdon, Cindy DiNunzio (Bob) of Murrysville, and Allan Rose (Stacy) of Murrysville; 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; her brother, Mark Eichler (Barbara) of North Carolina; and her brother-in-law Mel Rose of Sacramento, CA.

Friends received at Wolfe Memorial, LLC, Forest Hills Chapel, 3604 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221, on Thursday, April 8, 2-4 and 6-8pm. A celebration of life will be held at Hope Lutheran Church on Saturday, April 10, at 11:00am followed by a picnic outdoors. Private interment in Homewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Diane’s request was for memorial gifts to support Magee-Womens Foundation Research Fund, 3240 Craft Place Suite 100, Pittsburgh PA 15213, www.mageewomens.org/support.
