Age 89, of Forest Hills, peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 11, 2019. Beloved wife of William H. Reed, who accompanied her in death on January 11, 2019. Cherished mother of Sharyn Reed Kelson, Joella (José) Rivera, and William (Maryann) Reed. Loving Grandma of Julius Rivera, and Justin & Andrew Reed. Dear sister of Donald Loreski, Donna Kunis, and the late David Loreski. Faithful daugher of Joseph & Ella Loreski. Doreen was a strong and loving woman fiercely devoted to her family. She was a constant and supportive companion to her friend and husband, William H. Reed, for 69 years. Her children and grandchildren were encouraged and comforted daily by her unwavering strength and guidance. Doreen was fun loving and adventurous, enjoying travel with her husband and family, from Cape May, NJ, to Como, Italy. She could be counted on for speaking the truth and faithfully cheering on the underdogs of the world. Friends received at Wolfe Memorial, Forest Hills Chapel, 3604 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221, on Sunday only 1-6pm. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Maurice Church Monday at noon. Interment in William Penn Memorial Cemetery.
