Dr. Roger D. Stock, age 71, of Penn Hills, died on Friday, March 26, 2021, at home. Born July 1, 1949, he was a son of the late William and Genevieve (Gehrlein) Stock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary, in 2015.
He is survived by the love of his life, Linda Pasculle; brothers, William of Cincinnati, OH, Gregory of Jeannette, PA, Carl of FL, Paul of TX; and a sister, Anne, of central PA.
He was a 1967 graduate of Elk County Christian High School in St. Marys, PA, a 1971 graduate of St. Vincent College in Latrobe, and a graduate of Life Chiropractic College of Georgia.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the great outdoors in general. He was proficient and practiced in the arts of barbecuing, smoking meats, perfecting his famous sauerkraut each fall, and home brewing. He was a gifted writer with a keen understanding and appreciation of life, and cherished his many lasting friendship. He had a well deserved reputation as a keen and excellent shopper, with a finely honed ability to sniff out a bargain from a mile away. He played a mean guitar. He had a good and glorious life.
Let us not fill our hearts with pain and sorrow, but remember him in every tomorrow. Recall the joy, the laughter, his ever present smile. Dry your eyes and remember him as he was. As long as he has our love and fondest memories his life will endure in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
