Durina Pearl Ann (Weathers) Brown

Of Penn Hills, formerly of East Liberty, age 69, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 3, 2022. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Keisha Brown of Wilkinsburg; grandchildren Annessa DeLaRosa, Annissa DeLaRosa, JayVaughn Brown-Johnson (Layna Ginn); great grandchildren Nyaire DeLaRosa-Posey, Jamiyah DeLaRosa Mackey, Le’Anna DeLaRosa-King, Leo Brown, and Levi Brown-Johnson; her siblings Connie Griggs of Pittsburgh, Courtney Dewberry of Penn Hills, James Weathers of Homewood, Mahdi Bey of TX, Stacey Weathers Johnson of MD, William Johnson of Pittsburgh, Loren Johnson of Pittsburgh; her great-aunt Corrine Hines of Wilkinsburg and Corrine’s son Rainer Hines (Richelle); her nieces and nephews Omar Weathers and the late Rashad Weathers, Kenya, Tyree, Tenia, and Loren Johnson; and a host of additional nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Jane Della (Stokley) and James Herbert Weathers, Jr. Durina will be remembered for her creativity and artistry, as well as her loving spirit.

Friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Penn Forest Natural Burial Park, 121 Colorado Street, Verona PA 15147, on Wednesday, March 9, at 12:00pm. Between 11:30am and noon everyone will be welcome and invited to write messages on the outside of Durina’s casket. The service will be held outdoors so please dress according to the weather. Those attending will be invited to the repast afterward to be held from 1:00 to 2:00pm.
