Eleanor J. Cappuccio

Of Churchill, age 94, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Seneca Manor. Loving mother of Cheryl Fazio (the late Nick) of St. Petersburg, FL, Ron Cappuccio (Annette) of Monroeville, and Dr. Jeffrey Cappuccio (Debbi) of Cape Coral, FL. Proud grandmother of C.J. and Anthony Cappuccio; step-grandmother of Trey and Tylor Balson and Amanda Freedline; and step-great-grandmother to Caley. Sister of the late Richard Andrucci (Kay of Wilkinsburg). She was preceded in death in 2014 by her beloved husband of 59 years, Saverio F. “Sam” Cappuccio. Eleanor was an avid baseball fan and from April to September she lived for the Pittsburgh Pirates. She was a warm, caring, and big-hearted person who could make friends with anybody and she loved her family very much.

Friends received at Wolfe Memorial, LLC, Forest Hills Chapel, 3600 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221, on Monday, Dec. 30 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 10am followed by entombment in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
