Elizabeth "Beth" Hurrell

Of Penn Hills, age 65, passed away peacefully with her sisters by her side on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Beth was born December 28, 1958, the 4th child of Wade and Joan (McNair) Hurrell. She lived in Penn Hills throughout her life. She was a graduate of Duquesne University and Shadyside School of Nursing. Beth loved being a nurse and found her true calling in home health care. She was a lifetime member of Beulah Presbyterian Church and an active member of the choir. She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. Beth will be remembered by her family as a loving sister and wonderful aunt. She is survived by her siblings Deborah Hurrell of Penn Hills, Mark Hurrell (Marianna) of Chatham, NJ, Susan Hurrell (Monica Prebish) of Johnstown, and David Hurrell of Trafford; sister-in-law Diane Hurrell of Monroeville; nieces Brooke, Samantha, and Jennifer; and nephew John. Preceded in death by her parents and nephew Nathan Hurrell. Private burial in Beulah Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
