James “Jim” Simeone
Of Wilkinsburg, age 50, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, February 3, 2024. Beloved son of Shirley Demko of Plum and the late Noel Simeone. Brother of Jennifer Springel (Leon) of Plum, Karen Ray of Virginia, and Sarah McGeary (Greg) of Irwin, and he was the beloved uncle of all of their children. Step-son of Lorene Sneed of East Pittsburgh. James loved God, music, and writing poetry. He was a sensitive and caring person who was generous with himself. James was employed for 20 years with the Jewish Family and Community Services Squirrel Hill Food Pantry and he was a beloved member of the Christian Church of Wilkinsburg. Friends received at Wolfe Memorial, LLC, Forest Hills Chapel, 3600 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221, on Friday, Feb. 9, from 4:00pm until the time of the Blessing Service at 6:00pm.
