Jennifer J. Shirley, age 36, of Oakdale, PA, Collier Twp., was lifted up to Heaven on angels wings on Friday, July 7, 2023, while in the care of her loving husband Tommy, her best friend and love of her life. She was born in Pittsburgh on July 5, 1987, to her parents Michael Strunak and Renee Strunak. She was the beloved newlywed wife of her husband, Thomas J. Shirley of North Huntingdon. She will be sadly missed by Tommy but comforted in the joy of knowing she is cradled in the hands of God and Jesus and all of Heaven. Loving sister of Greg Strunak, sister-in-law of Jason Shirley. Daughter-in-law of Thomas and Marianne Shirley. Grand-daughter of Fred Depp. Preceded in death by her grandparents Jean Depp, John Strunak, and Joann Strunak. She impacted and is treasured by her family, friends, many cousins, aunts, uncles, mentor, Ron Mock, and numerous clients whose hearts she will live in forever and never be forgotten. She attended Chartiers Valley High School where she was a standout varsity volleyball player and 2004 Offensive Player of the Year. She was a graduate of Point Park University and earned a bachelor’s degree in applied science/accounting. For 14 years she was passionate about her career and accomplishments as a well-respected CPA of Mock, Bosco & Associates, PC, and long term member of the AICPA & PICPA. Jen’s pleasures were many especially the love for her cat Figaro and her dog Milo. She enjoyed traveling time with her husband, dining on elegant cuisines, and her favorite was inspiring and traveling to go watch him play professional baseball games. She also relished the simpler joys of life such as special weekends at the family farm. Jen was very fashionable, extremely artistic, and appreciated the arts.
