Joan B. Anderson

Of Wilkins Twp., age 81, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020. Beloved wife of Drew Anderson. Sister of Russell W. Spangler (Pamela) of Georgia. Aunt of Anna Bethune (Todd) and Benjamin Spangler (Ronda), both of Georgia. Great-aunt of Will and Drew Bethune, and Robin and Brack Spangler. Also survived by lifelong family friend, Tim Kelly, and her faithful canine companion, Muggsy. Joan worked at Union Switch & Signal and was a greeter at St. John Fisher Church for many years. Her family is grateful for the wonderful care she received from Caring Hospice. Friends received at Wolfe Memorial, LLC, Forest Hills Chapel, 3604 Greensburg Pike, on Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8pm. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 3:15pm followed by interment in William Penn Cemetery. Gifts in Joan's memory may be given to Humane Animal Rescue.
