John Boardman, MD Obituary

John F. Boardman, MD of Forest Hills died unexpectedly on Friday, March 16, 2018. He was devoted to his career as a neuroradiologist at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. A lifetime resident of Pittsburgh, he attended Sterrett elementary school, Taylor Alderdice High School, the University of Pittsburgh and graduated from Carnegie Mellon University before obtaining his MD degree from New York Medical College. In his spare time he enjoyed reading widely and taking care of his home and garden. He took particular pleasure in hiking in the woods at Ohiopyle State Park. He was predeceased by his father and mother and leaves his brother Charles, sister-in-law JoAnn, niece Danielle Murray and nephew John Boardman as well as several cousins. Arrangements are being handled by the Wolfe Memorial Funeral Home in Forest Hills. Burial at Homewood cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
