Kenneth Wayne Moelk, of Monroeville, formerly of Penn Hills, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at age 92. He was the beloved husband of nearly 72 years of Elizabeth "Betsy" Moelk. Loving father of the Rev. James Kenneth Moelk (Jaye), Gary William Moelk (Nancy) and Laurie Williams (Martin). Survived by ten grandchildren: Yvonne Jouffrault (Olivier), Janel Messmer, Lydia Ireland (Sean), James Moelk (Rebecca), Sarah Pounders (Justin), Caleb Williams (Kelly), Andrew Moelk (Ashley), Jocelyn Clyde (Michael), Jessica Capretto (Peter), and Peter Williams (Alischia); and 24 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Adeline Simmons and Charles Kenneth Moelk and sister, Barbara Gazzo (Nick).
Ken was an active member of Beulah Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder. He was a Westinghouse employee for 43 years, having worked at the Research and Development facility in Churchill Borough most of those years, and a former member of Three Rivers Barbershop Chorus. Ken had a passion for photography and woodworking. He and Betsy developed a love for bird watching and enjoyed traveling together.
Friends are invited to a memorial service at Beulah Presbyterian Church, 2500 McCrady Road, Pittsburgh PA 15235, on Saturday at 10:00am. Memorial gifts may be made to Beulah Presbyterian Church. Arrangements by Wolfe Memorial, LLC.
