Obituary
Formerly of Churchill, age 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Longwood at Oakmont. Beloved husband of 54 years of Mary Lin. Loving father of Jerry Lynn, MD (Joy) and Michael Lynn, MBA, AIF, AAMS, CMFC (Judy). Cherished grandfather of Alexander, Remy, and Edric Lynn. Also survived by 3 brothers and 4 sisters and their families, all in Taiwan. Dr. Lin immigrated to this country in 1965 with only two suitcases and a 1-way ticket and worked on his MD and PhD at the University of Pittsburgh while moonlighting in Columbia Hospital's Emergency Room. He later started his own practice and taught part-time at Pitt Medical School. He devoted his career to medicine and was a well-loved allergist serving the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh. For fun, he used to enjoy listening to classical music and musicals, playing golf at Edgewood Country Club, and investing. Private burial in Plum Creek Cemetery.
