Pamela Shaler Obituary

Pamela, 72, a resident of Ross Township and formerly of Forest Hills, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. She was the daughter of Dr. James Bunn Shaler and Edna Shaler and the sister of the late James C. Shaler. She is survived by her brother, Dr. Robert C. Shaler, her sister, Dr. Kathleen S. Peindl, two nieces, Brandi Shaler and Christine Young, two nephews, Terrence Shaler and Lee Peindl, and two grandnieces, Sydney Young and Lily Peindl. Pam was a registered nurse until her retirement from Shadyside Hospital. She had a zest for life and a quick laugh. She was a wonderful cook with a knack for preparing memorable meals. An accomplished musician with perfect pitch, Pam could play most stringed instruments, especially the violin and the 12-string Spanish guitar.
