Age 92, of Churchill passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. Born November 12, 1927, he was the son of Barbara and Elias J. Moses. Paul was a graduate of Altoona High School (1945) and served on active duty in the United States Army of Occupation (Germany) as a newswriter for the American Force Network. He attended Penn State and the University of Chicago and graduated from the Law School of the University of Chicago in 1952. Except for a stint as a law clerk in the federal district court he spent his entire career associated with the law firm Evans Ivory and Evans, later known as Evans Ivory, and was president of the firm at the time of his retirement in 2000. He was a trial lawyer and handled many trials and appeals in the state and federal courts. A former instructor at Duquesne Law School he was a member of the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations and an emeritus member the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County. He was also a member of the bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. He is survived by his only son, Paul Louis, of Churchill. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Krina Scurletis Moses (2006) and brothers, all of whom were veterans of World War II: Sam, William, Julius, Eugene, and John, and sisters: Ida Ganem, Victoria Hyak, and Grace Moore.
A private visitation will take place at Wolfe Memorial, LLC, followed by a funeral service at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 419 S.
