Age 97, formerly of Wilkins Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2026, in The Villages, FL.
Pete was the devoted husband of the late Ann "Mimi" Rosati, with whom he shared 52 wonderful years of marriage and built a lifetime of cherished memories. Loving father of Robert Rosati and wife Denise and Denise Berkebile and husband Keith; PapPap to granddaughters Shelley Young and husband Jason, Christie Perriello and husband Justin, and Great-Pappy to Daniel Perriello. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Mario and Pasqua Rosati and his sister, Concetta Macioce.
Pete was blessed to find companionship and joy with Mary Antonelli for over 20 years. Memories of Pete also live on through Mary's family; son Robert Antonelli and wife Denise, daughter Debra and husband Chris, and Mary's granddaughters, their husbands, and her great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.
Born in Alvito, Italy, Pete took a courageous leap of faith when he arrived in the United States as a teenager in 1947. He spent decades building a legacy of hard work as a skilled metalworker at Blumcraft and a deep appreciation for the opportunities his new home provided.
Pete will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to and love for his family. A master storyteller, he could captivate a room with tales of his journey and life experiences, always punctuated by a sharp sense of humor, a deep laugh, and a twinkle in his eyes. He loved to play the lottery and was a dedicated fan of Pittsburgh sports. He truly cherished his time in The Villages, where he embraced the community and formed deep, lasting friendships that brightened his days. Pete leaves behind a legacy of laughter and love, and he will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
