Richard J. Bielicki

Of Wilkinsburg, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, April 28, 2022, one month shy of his 97th birthday. Husband of the late Nancy Bielicki who owned Nancy's Restaurant in Wilkinsburg. He was fondly known as "Mr. Nancy". Richard was a WWII Veteran and served in the Army from 1944-1946 in the 795th Military Police Battalion. Richard loved sports, especially golf and baseball and had even tried out for the Pirates. Richard also loved his family and was a wonderful father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his children, Lisa Burrelli, Donna Curry (Tom), Nancy Shook (Dave), and Louis Petrucci (Melissa), 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Michelle Armbruster.  Friends received at Wolfe Memorial, LLC, Forest Hills Chapel, 3604 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221, on Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 7:00pm. Private interment in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
