Robert Adamek

Of Monroeville, age 82, passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Beloved husband of Carol Adamek for 61 years. Loving father of Robert Adamek (Sharon) of Dublin, OH, Thomas Adamek (Gina) of Harrison City, and Sandra Adamek of Monroeville. Proud grandfather of Thomas Adamek, Makenzie Meeker (Adam), Kaylee Adamek (Cameron Taylor), and Meredith Geno. Brother of Margaret Beiswenger of Punta Gorda, FL, Antonette Davis (Ronald) of Plum, and the late Carl J. Adamek (Kathleen). Bob was born in Wilkins Twp. to Carl F. and Margaret Minerva (Beech) Adamek. After serving in the Air Force, he worked in the banking industry until his retirement in 2000. He was an avid sports fan and golfer and a member of Edgewood County Club for over 30 years. He enjoyed his friends, especially Wednesdays at the Club and Friday night dinners. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and never missed their sporting events and activities. Friends received at Wolfe Memorial, LLC, Forest Hills Chapel, 3604 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221, on Friday 4:00 to 8:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am until the time of the Blessing Service at 11:00am.
