Robert F. Hunter

Of Forest Hills, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Survived by his life-long companion of 46 years, Shirley Rossi. Father of Bradley C. Hunter (Penny L. Lowrance) of Indian Trail, NC. Grandfather of Benjamin T. Hunter (Amy) of Houston, TX. Great-grandfather of Lily and Beckett. Robert was also beloved by Shirley’s children, Debra Barnhart and Lisa Koutsouflakis. He was a graduate of Robert Morris College and had a long career as an accountant at Westinghouse Electric Company. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a member of American Legion East Liberty Post No. 5 and will be remembered as a good man. 

Friends will be received at Wolfe Memorial, LLC, Forest Hills Chapel, 3600 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221, on Friday, May 8, from 6 to 8pm. A funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 9, at 11am. Mr. Hunter will be laid to rest in Allegheny Cemetery with military honors.
