Sallie Lockwood Walsh

Sallie Lockwood Walsh, of Churchill, passed away at home on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at age 54. She was the beloved and devoted partner of Colleen Reilly for 9 years. Sister of Mary Jo Elchik (Thomas) of Lower Burrell. Aunt of Anna and Benjamin Elchik. Preceded in death by her only child, Joshua, in 2018. She will be missed by so many cousins, friends, and chosen family whom she truly loved. She was born in McKeesport on November 27, 1968, to William Stanley Walsh and Anna Ellen (Moran) Walsh. 

Sallie was a fighter and bravely battled her cancer. She had a wonderful zest for life and was great at connecting with people. She loved fashion, makeup, and traveling and was always looking ahead to the next adventure.

Friends received at Wolfe Memorial, LLC, Forest Hills Chapel, 3600 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221, on Friday, September 8, from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A gathering to celebrate Sallie's life will be held on Saturday, November 4, from 2 to 4pm at 5801 Lounge & Cafe, 5801 Ellsworth Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15232. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Sallie’s memory may be given to Humane Animal Rescue, https://humaneanimalrescue.org.
