Of Swisshelm Park, age 75, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, January 28, 2022, at UPMC East. Beloved wife of 50 years of Keith A. Michael. Proud godmother of Hailey Lazich-Kotovsky (Noah Winniewicz) of Swisshelm Park. Loving and supportive family friend to Donna Lazich of Pittsburgh. Niece of Pat Joseph of Squirrel Hill and best friend of Janie Fouser (Bob) of Dravosburg. She will also be sadly missed by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Shirley was a union member and worked as a nurse at the Charles Morris Nursing and Rehab Center until she retired to help raise her goddaughter and care for many other children. Friends received at Wolfe Memorial, LLC, Forest Hills Chapel, 3604 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221, on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 1:30pm followed by burial in William Penn Cemetery.
