As a third generation funeral director, Robert A. Wolfe and his family have had the privilege of serving the Pittsburgh area for many years.
The Wolfe family funeral services date back to 1918 when Bob's grandfather, Samuel W. Wolfe began serving families from his East Pittsburgh funeral home. This tradition continued on into the next generation as Robert E. Wolfe, Samuel's son, began serving families from his Wilkinsburg location in 1959. Tragically Robert E. Wolfe died in 1967, and at that time his wife Lois continued the proud family tradition they had established in the Pittsburgh area.
Today, Bob Wolfe, a licensed Funeral Director since 1980, continues his family tradition of helping others. In 1994, Bob relocated the funeral home into the Forest Hills Community. Although the location has changed, the care and compassion of the Wolfe Memorial Staff has never waivered. Bob and his staff continue to serve the same communities and families as his father and grandfather did before him. This funeral home is a "Home" of comfort and care. A third generation of family ownership that takes great pride in what they do. During your time of need your family becomes an extended part of the Wolfe family.
