NELSON IRENE C.
Age 89, on Saturday, December 24, 2016, of Longwood at Oakmont formerly of Wilkins Twp. Wife of the late Marland E. Nelson; mother of Mark (Wendy) Nelson, Julie (Tim) Russell and the late Daniel Nelson; grandmother of Danny, Lacey, Timmy, the late Eric; also step-grandchildren, Grant, Garrett and Devin; great- grandmother of Danny; sister of John and Larry Check and the late Barb, Mia and Betsy. Irene was a longtime active member of Beulah Presbyterian Church retiring from the Easter Seals Society as a physical therapist. She was also Board President for many years for the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation. Irene was an honored recipient of numerous awards from both organizations.
